| Duties: | Perform all non and semi-skilled tasks associated with labourer duties; cutting grass, flagging, loading equipment, repairing fences, cleaning streets, removing garbage, using manual tools, laying pipes, digging, etc.; also perform other related tasks as assigned. Assignments are performed under general supervision and performance is subject to review, inspection and evaluation by the Foreman III - Public Works. |
| Education: | -Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in the labourer force - OR - an equivalent combination;
-Must be in possession of a valid B.C. Driver's Licence; |
| Skills: | -Able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with other staff members;
-Able to recognize and rectify and/or report upon actual or potential safety hazards; -Able to perform manual work and lift heavy objects; -Working knowledge of tools, equipment, procedures, principles and methods used in labourer work. |
| Salary: | $22.23 to $26.15 per hour (2016 rate) |
