| Duties: |
The City of Chilliwack is looking for an energetic, motivated individual for our Parks area of our Operations Department to fill the position of Labourer I (part-time). Duties include all non and semi-skilled tasks associated with labourer duties including but not limited to cutting grass, repairing fences and parks equipment, cleaning grounds and refuse, digging, weeding and other non-skilled gardening tasks; performing general janitorial and maintenance duties; operating all equipment required for the performance the required duties.

| Education: |
This position requires a minimum of two years practical experience in the labour force. A valid B.C. Driver's Licence with appropriate classification of equipment assigned is required. |
| Skills: |
Must be able to establish a good working relationship with other staff members; be able to perform manual work and lift heavy objects; have a working knowledge of tools, equipment, methods and principles used in labourer work. |
| Salary: |
$20.27 per hour - $23.85 per hour. (2013 Rates)
